Professional Goals
As I have started my career of a Certified Child Life Specialist I strive to continue learning about my profession and enhancing my skills. I want to be able to give patients the best care possible while they are in the hospital and I will continue to be an active member of the Association of Child Life Professionals to enhance my personal growth and development.
What is Child Life?
Child life specialists are pediatric health care professionals who work with children and families in hospitals and other settings to help them cope with the challenges of hospitalization, illness, and disability. They also provide information, support, and guidance to parents, siblings, and other family members.
