I graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Alabama in May of 2018 with a degree in child life studies. For my last semester of college I was selected to participate in a child life internship at The Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital in Macon, GA. During my time spent at Alabama and in my internship I learned the skills and knowledge needed to become a Certified Child Life Specialist.
While a student at The University of Alabama I was a member of the Child Life Association on campus. This association introduced me to many volunteer opportunities with Children's of Alabama and Camp Smile-A-Mile, along with child life educational seminars offered outside of the university.
